News from arXiv: arXiv joins openRxiv in response to NIH Request for Information

To inform future policy options, the NIH undertook two analyses of recent publishing costs, and in September of 2025, the NIH solicited responses from the research community and the public at large to comment on their analyses of proposed options for limiting costs.
