… built up a substantial ecosystem around Kubernetes, sometimes driving a need to deploy Kubernetes as a temporary workload on a subset of resources to handle workloads that so heavily depend on it. There are also efforts to expand the overall scheduling capabilities of Kubernetes to better cater to the needs of computational workloads, so efforts are ongoing.
