Iemand met dermatofilose kan gewoon naar de kinderopvang, school of werk als deze persoon zich goed voelt. Het is wel belangrijk om wondjes af te dekken en goed op hygiëne te letten. Zo wordt de kans kleiner dat anderen de bacterie krijgen.
